I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of Infinite Harmony from the fabulous Tammy Blackwell, and my intent was to go watch a movie and put this review on the backburner like I have about five other reviews that need to be written but as soon as I finished it, my brain refused to allow me to do anything else until I sat down to write this review because I could not get this story out of my head. So here we go!
I love, Love, LOVED this book. Of course, it's no secret that I was in love with the Timber Wolves Trilogy and I loved Fragile Brilliance when I read it. Infinite Harmony is the second installment of the Shifters & Seers series and it was just as good, if not better, as Fragile Brilliance. I instantly fell in love with Ada and Joshua, our lovely main characters. They are so adorably lovable, I wish they were my friends in real life. Who wouldn't love a witty, brave girl with a secret that will one day kill her and a gangly, nerdy Immortal who survives mostly on chocolate?
If I had to give this book a complaint (I don't want to because I really do not have a complaint) it would be that maybe it could use some more butt-kicking action or some more description of certain much anticipated nuptials, but all in all, it was a wonderful story of falling in love between two very unlikely people. It contained everything I have grown to expect from Tammy Blackwell's books; awesome Shifter drama and danger, love, wit, fear, and just all around amazingness. She sure knows how to write wonderful books and does a fabulous job at both world and character building. I also can't forget to mention that the book covers are so amazingly beautiful. Props to the cover artist because she's the bomb (dot) com.
Infinite Harmony has a release date of October 14, 2014. If you don't pick it up and read it, then you obviously aren't as cool as I thought you were. While you wait the agonizing few weeks for its release, check out the Timber Wolves trilogy, if you haven't already. I promise you will NOT regret it. I loved it so much, I have an e-copy on my Kindle and I also bought the physical "box set" book while I was at UtopYA this year.
